Tim currently works as a Paramedic and Fire Captain for a large urban municipal fire department located in the central region of Arizona.  He maintains instructor and program management credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS and 12-Lead ECG.

Tim holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and is known for his approachable non-intimidating approach to adult education.  Tim has been instrumental in implementing numerous community based programs in his efforts to empower our civilian based rescuers.

Lisa Newton, RN


20 Years Experience - Prehospital and Hospital Based Healthcare, Trauma Nurse Specialist, ED Nurse of the Year Award Recipient
Lisa currently works as a Clinical Resource Nurse for the Phoenix Children's Hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. She maintains instructor and program management credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP and ENPC.

Lisa is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Family Nurse Practice. She has served as both a fixed and rotor wing Flight Nurse allowing her to gain valuable insight into the prehospital arena and has educated EMT's, Paramedics, Nurses and Physicians throughout her career. Lisa is known for her ability to interpret complicated subject matter and convey it into a palatable instructional format.

Brian Joseph, MBA-L, NREMT-P


13 Years Experience- Public Safety, Paramedic of the Year Award Recipient, Firefighter of the Year Award Recipient

Brian currently serves as a Paramedic and Fire Captain for a large urban municipal fire department located in the central region of Arizona. He maintains instructor and coordinator credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, PHTLS and AMLS. Brian also serves as a primary EMT-Basic and EMT-Paramedic instructor and session manager.

As Valedictorian of his Paramedic class in 2000, he quickly established a strong reputation as being a dedicated and knowledgeable Paramedic. Brian enjoys teaching because it “forces me to stay up to date with current trends and treatment options.” Brian holds a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communications, a Masters in Business Administration Leadership, and is a NREMT-P.

John Tobin, AAS, NREMT-P

John currently works as a Paramedic and Fire Captain for a large urban municipal fire department located in the central region of Arizona. He maintains instructor and program management credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP, AMLS and 12 Lead ECG.

John holds two Associate Degrees, in Paramedicine and Fire Science. He has served extensively as a field Paramedic Preceptor insuring that students achieve the highest quality of vehicular internships. John is also an experienced National Registry Examiner for both EMT-Basics and EMT-Paramedic candidates.

Jeremy currently works as a Paramedic and Firefighter for a large urban municipal fire department located in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Jeremy has been directly involved in formalized Fire Explorer programs for many years and is himself a product of such a program. He maintains instructor and program management credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP and AMLS.

Jeremy has been involved in prehospital education for several years and has functioned as an instructor and session manager for EMT-Paramedic programs and various continuing education programs. Jeremy truly enjoys education and believes his strengths are in mentoring others through his involvement in various types of education and development programs.

Stephen currently works as a Paramedic and Fire Engineer for a large urban municipal fire department located in the East valley of the Phoenix-Mesa metropolitan area. He maintains instructor and program management credentials in CPR, First Aid, ACLS, PALS, PEPP and AMLS.

Stephen holds two degrees in Fire Science and Paramedicine. He has been involved in prehospital education for several years and has functioned as an instructor and course manager. He is known for his expertise in EMT-Basic refresher training and has served as a program coordinator on numerous courses. Stephen is a well respected Paramedic preceptor and is a credentialed National Registry skills examiner.

Scott Wilkins, NREMT-P


30 Years Experience- Public Safety

Scott worked as a Firefighter/Paramedic for a large urban municipal Fire Department located in the East Valley.  Scott has a wide range of experience in public safety including 15 years as a Flight Paramedic, 13 years as a Dive Team Coordinator, and 8 years as a Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF).  Scott is currently teaching paramedic students and implementing recertification and A.E.D. programs to private, public and corporate areas.
